Awai Cheung - Author and Speaker
My name is Awai Cheung. As a Business Qigong expert, speaker, and trainer for resilience, stress regulation, and mental health, I support individuals and companies in consciously managing their energy, strengthening their health, and sustainably maintaining their performance.
At an early age, I learned Asian martial arts such as Kung Fu, Judo, and Tae Kwon Do from Chinese and Korean grandmasters.
Through this, I understood: True strength comes not only from physical power, but from inner stability, focus, and a conscious handling of energy. This realization shapes my work to this day.
Business Qigong for the Modern Working World
While many people see Qigong purely as a relaxation method, for me it is a practical tool for the challenges of today's working world.
In times of high stress, constant availability, and continuous change, Business Qigong helps to:
- regulate stress early on
- improve concentration and focus
- strengthen emotional balance
- build up new energy
- remain healthy and productive in the long term
My Mission
I want to show that health, performance, and inner peace are not a contradiction. Those who learn to consciously direct their energy gain clarity, serenity, and confidence in action, both in their professional and personal lives.
My seminars, lectures, and training sessions are practical and experiential. Participants experience firsthand how they can develop more energy, resilience, and mental strength using simple methods.
My Guiding Principle
"Only those who move can move something."
Therefore, my work does not focus on theory, but on tangible, sustainable change.

What does Qigong mean?
The term "Qigong" is composed of two Chinese characters: "Qi" and "Gong". "Qi" stands for life energy, breath, or the vital force that, according to traditional Chinese concepts, flows through all living organisms. "Gong" means something like persistent work, cultivation, practice, or skill. Translating both terms together, Qigong consequently means "working with life energy" or the "cultivation of Qi" through continuous and mindful practice.
As an integral part of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Qigong looks back on a history spanning thousands of years. The practice combines gentle, flowing movements with conscious breathing techniques and mental concentration. Through this harmonious connection, blockages in the meridians, the body's energy pathways, are meant to be released. This allows the life energy to flow freely and unhindered again, which activates the body's self-healing powers and increases overall well-being.
The health benefits of Qigong are diverse and aim at a holistic harmonization of body, mind, and soul. Regular practice strengthens the immune system, improves posture, reduces stress, and promotes mental clarity. Since the movements are very gentle and can be individually adapted, Qigong is suitable for people of all ages and physical conditions to find inner peace and gain new strength for everyday life.
